Based in Knysna, the heart of the beautiful Garden Route, Motion Pixel Weddings forms part of the Motion Pixel production company run by award winning photographer and creative director Duran De Villiers. Covering weddings all across the Garden Route, South Africa and beyond, we provide our clients with the best in creative wedding media, covering both the stills and video imagery capturing your day like never before!
Wedding Photography
Our style is very much behind the scenes and photojournalistic in approach, capturing the day as it happens, real, raw imagery. What's important to us is that you enjoy your wedding day, that's what matters here, and at the end of the day, the images always show it. We don't direct the couple or get in the way, if alittle help is needed, no problem, but you can expect us to say 'take a walk, relax and have fun!'
Along with capturing natural moments, a lot of thought and effort is put into image quality and creativity, we use the best equipment available and have years of production, tv and photographic experience.
HD Wedding Films
Our wedding video production is more a branching out of our already well established production company, flowing with the photography, in real time as it happens on the day, a unique fusion of video and still images, covering the wedding day as never before. As top media professionals we provide our clients with photography and video production that go hand in hand to compliment each other, visually as well as professionally. Also, our fusion packages are very popular as our clients only have to book once for both their photographer and videographer not with separate photographers and videographers who often have clashing styles and working ethics. We also offer great discounts on our fusion packages.
Motion Pixel
Our media production company Motion Pixel covers shoots all across the Garden Route, South Africa and the world, from magazine spreads and front covers to full length television productions, start to finish, advanced aerial media using our very own SteadiDrone systems, we capture & create. The only media house of it's kind in the greater Garden Route, we service local, national and international clients. Motion Pixel is run by husband & wife team, Duran & Alexa, as well as Frans, our all round right hand man. All of us being Knysna locals for many years. Duran has been in the media industry since the start of his career as media Director for an international television program, producing just shy of 200 aired programs. He is an award winning professional photographer, creative director and all round tech and media geek. Frans is a keen photographer and film guru with a great sense of humour. With over a decade of management positions in the retail industry, as well as regional management experience, Alexa brings the balance to our crazy little world and makes everything happen. Duran is a registered member of the Professional Photographers of Southern Africa - PPSA. Apart from the wedding photography Motion Pixel runs and owns a few other websites, including national photographic sites along with a photographic lighting online store, Camera Light, the leading store of it's kind in South Africa.
